Shifting Shadows

James 1:17-18 (NCV)

Every good action and every perfect gift is from God. These good gifts come down from the Creator of the sun, moon, and stars, who does not change like their shifting shadows. God decided to give us life through the word of truth so we might be the most important of all the things he made.

Training

1 Timothy 4:7-9

Have nothing to do with godless myths and old wives' tales; rather, train yourself to be godly. For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come.

This is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance

Lift up your Hands

Psalm 134:2
Lift up your hands in the sanctuary and praise the LORD.

Clean Hands

psalm 24:3-4

Who may ascend the hill of the LORD ?
Who may stand in his holy place?

He who has clean hands and a pure heart,
who does not lift up his soul to an idol
or swear by what is false.

Wove my sins

Lamentations 1:14

“He wove my sins into ropes to hitch me to a yoke of captivity. The Lord sapped my strength and turned me over to my enemies; I am helpless in their hands.

Renew

Lamentation 5:20

Restore us to yourself, O LORD, that we may return; renew our days as of old

A fervent prayer prayed by the Jewish people, they want God to remember them, to restore them... this truck needs to be restored, it looks as if it has been abandoned for many many years. Even when I have felt abandoned by God, he never fails to restore me as long as I return back to Him.

Send out you Light

Psalm 43:3-4

Oh, send out Your light and Your truth! Let them lead me; Let them bring me to Your holy hill And to Your tabernacle.
Then I will go to the altar of God, To God my exceeding joy; And on the harp I will praise You, O God, my God.

As a lighthouse brings in boats during a time of blind wondering, Gods truth shines just like a lighthouse especially during times of blind wondering. We just have to know where to look. Let your light and truth bring me to your Word.
