Grains of Sand

Psalm 139:17-18

How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered!
I can’t even count them; they outnumber the grains sand. And when I wake up, you are still with me!

Pillars

Revelation 13:11-13

I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take away your crown. All who are victorious will become pillars in the Temple of my God, and they will never have to leave it. And I will write on them the name of my God, and they will be citizens in the city of my God—the new Jerusalem that comes down from heaven from my God. And I will also write on them my new name.“Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what he is saying to the churches.

Light of the World

Matthew 5:14

“You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden.

Emptiness

Job 15:31-33

Let them no longer fool themselves by trusting in empty riches, for emptiness will be their only reward. Like trees, they will be cut down in the prime of life;their branches will never again be green. They will be like a vine whose grapes are harvested too early, like an olive tree that loses its blossoms before the fruit can form.

Balance

Psalm 119:108-110

Lord, accept my offering of praise, and teach me your regulations. My life constantly hangs in the balance, but I will not stop obeying your instructions. The wicked have set their traps for me, but I will not turn from your commandments.

Praise

Psalm 100: 4-5

Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. For the LORD is good; His mercy is everlasting, And His truth endures to all generations.

Abba Father

Romans 8:15-16

So you have not received a spirit that makes you fearful slaves. Instead, you received God’s Spirit when he adopted you as his own children. Now we call him, “Abba, Father.” For his Spirit joins with our spirit to affirm that we are God’s children.

Hold Tightly

Hebrews 10:23-24

Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise. Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works.

Friend of Sinners

Romans 5:9-11

And since we have been made right in God’s sight by the blood of Christ, he will certainly save us from God’s condemnation. For since our friendship with God was restored by the death of his Son while we were still his enemies, we will certainly be saved through the life of his Son. So now we can rejoice in our wonderful new relationship with God because our Lord Jesus Christ has made us friends of God.

Test me in This

Malachi 3:10

Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this," says the LORD Almighty, "and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it.

Do Not Be Anxious

Philippians 4:5-7

Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

This picture was taken right after my first miscarriage, which was one of three. This verse lead us though a very frustrating and difficult time. God truly answered this prayer, because when I needed peace, he blessed me with a peace that surpasses all understanding, and without question I knew God's plan was more amazing than I could ever imagine. It was still had to accept at times, but I had peace.

Anointing with oil

James 5:14

Are any of you sick? You should call for the elders of the church to come and pray over you, anointing you with oil in the name of the Lord.

Plans

Proverbs 16:9

In his heart a man plans his course, but the LORD determines his steps.

The Great Harvest

Matthew 9:36-38

When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them because they were confused and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. He said to his disciples, “The harvest is great, but the workers are few. So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields.”

Apple of my Eye

Psalm 17:7-8

Show the wonder of your great love,
you who save by your right hand
those who take refuge in you from their foes.

Keep me as the apple of your eye;
hide me in the shadow of your wings

Don't Forget

Psalm 76:9-16

The warriors of Ephraim, though armed with bows,
turned their backs and fled on the day of battle.
They did not keep God’s covenant
and refused to live by his instructions.
They forgot what he had done—
the great wonders he had shown them,
the miracles he did for their ancestors
on the plain of Zoan in the land of Egypt.
For he divided the sea and led them through,
making the water stand up like walls!
In the daytime he led them by a cloud,
and all night by a pillar of fire.
He split open the rocks in the wilderness
to give them water, as from a gushing spring.
He made streams pour from the rock,
making the waters flow down like a river!

How often do I turn my back on God and forget what He has done? Just like The warriors of Ephraim, they forgot the wonders and miracles God did to lead the Israelites out of Egypt

Guard my Life

Psalm 25:20-21

Guard my life and rescue me; let me not be put to shame, for I take refuge in you.

May integrity and uprightness protect me because my hope is in you.

Shifting Shadows

James 1:17-18 (NCV)

Every good action and every perfect gift is from God. These good gifts come down from the Creator of the sun, moon, and stars, who does not change like their shifting shadows. God decided to give us life through the word of truth so we might be the most important of all the things he made.

Training

1 Timothy 4:7-9

Have nothing to do with godless myths and old wives' tales; rather, train yourself to be godly. For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come.

This is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance

Lift up your Hands

Psalm 134:2
Lift up your
hands in the sanctuary and praise the LORD.

Clean Hands

psalm 24:3-4

Who may ascend the hill of the LORD ?
Who may stand in his holy place?

He who has clean hands and a pure heart,
who does not lift up his soul to an idol
or swear by what is false.

Wove my sins

Lamentations 1:14

“He wove my sins into ropes to hitch me to a yoke of captivity. The Lord sapped my strength and turned me over to my enemies; I am helpless in their hands.

Renew

Lamentation 5:20

Restore us to yourself, O LORD, that we may return; renew our days as of old

A fervent prayer prayed by the Jewish people, they want God to remember them, to restore them... this truck needs to be restored, it looks as if it has been abandoned for many many years. Even when I have felt abandoned by God, he never fails to restore me as long as I return back to Him.

Send out you Light

Psalm 43:3-4

Oh, send out Your light and Your truth! Let them lead me; Let them bring me to Your holy hill And to Your tabernacle.
Then I will go to the altar of God, To God my exceeding joy; And on the harp I will praise You, O God, my God.

As a lighthouse brings in boats during a time of blind wondering, Gods truth shines just like a lighthouse especially during times of blind wondering. We just have to know where to look. Let your light and truth bring me to your Word.
